Learn the Foundations of Somatic Healing
A free guided meditation and companion guide to help you process emotions, stress, and trauma through your body
Most of us go through our days carrying tension in our chest, anxiety in our stomach, or tightness in our shoulders—emotional weight we don't quite know what to do with. We try to think our way through feelings, or push them down and keep moving. But our bodies hold the imprint of everything we've experienced, and they also hold the capacity to release it.
This foundational practice is different from traditional meditation. Instead of trying to calm your mind or relax your body, you'll learn how to bring gentle, curious attention to the emotional sensations that are already there—the tightness, heaviness, or tension you've been carrying. Through this simple but powerful approach, you'll discover that feeling these sensations without trying to change them is healing in itself.

What You'll Receive
Guided audio meditation (10 minutes)
A complete somatic practice that I use with clients in their first session. You'll learn how to drop into your body, locate emotional sensations, and stay present with them using awareness and breath.
A companion PDF guide (6 pages)
A detailed guide that breaks down the practice, explains what somatic healing is, answers common questions, and includes reflection prompts to deepen your experience.
This is the same foundational practice I've used with hundreds of clients over the years. It's gentle, accessible, and surprisingly powerful—even if you've never done anything like this before.
What makes this approach different?
Most approaches to healing focus on understanding your patterns through thinking and talking. While that can be valuable, it often keeps us stuck in our heads, analyzing rather than releasing.
This somatic practice invites your body to lead the way. You're not trying to figure anything out or make sense of what you feel. You're simply learning to be present with the sensations in your body with curiosity and attention. This state of presence—without trying to fix or change anything—creates the conditions for natural release and healing.
It may not make sense to your mind at first, but your body already knows how to do this.
